What is filmmaking for me?

Filmmaking is the most amazing way for me to express moments, puzzles and stories even!

The realism it requires forces me to create laws and boundaries of my imagination and to put every emotional moment into its proper place of time and space. A story about a piece of stone that starts an avalanche of events, or about a mother and her son, the constant craving for something we can't have, the antagonism within protagonism, no matter if its a philosophical question or just an interesting 90 minute event that occurred on the street one day, a film allows you to deal with it for years making every single detail count. Telling the story, pitching your motivation for a certain project tens, hundreds and thousands of times to numerous artists collaborating on the same project makes imagination work harder.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. As a film producer or a director I always tend to bring the challenge of creating two dozen thousand words on every second of the film. Composed of frames a film for me is a sequence of images and sounds that in unity discover and reinterpret complex emotions and moments of human's core essence we still have not found the answer to. Being a form of art, which I respect as the highest and most profound urge people have to express their honesty and individuality, film as I see it has a goal (and the responsibility) to enlighten its audience in any comprehendible possible way inside its natural "habitat".
